Introduction
Green Valley is a retirement community located in the fertile Santa Cruz
River Valley, midway between Tucson and Nogales. The community is home to
the Titan II Missile Museum (the only one of its kind), which is open daily.
The country around Green Valley abounds with historic
attractions, and Scenic drives and recreational opportunities are plentiful: Pena
Blanca Lake, Arivaca Lake, Madera Canyon, Kitt Peak Observatory,
Tohono O`Odham Indian Reservation, and Nogales, Mexico. Green
Valley attractions include the Titan II Missile Museum, several
annual golf tournaments and the three-day Country Fair and Parade
in October.
